After downloading Lucky Star 15 and Lyrical 14, I found that I only have time to watch one of them, and so I chose the superior.

Lucky Star is an anime based off a 4 panel comic, so you can expect to find much randomness. Many parts of the show are actually parodies of other anime(s), which is mainly responsible for making it so popular.

Now, lets look at the list of parodies with screencaps from yours truly:

Konata is reading a book. Dad enters.
Dad: Is that interesting?
Konata: Unique.
Beautifully executed. For the slow, this famous, two-line conversation takes place between Kyon and Yuki.

Kagami's in a different class from the other 3 again. Sad L.




This is a parody of the Da Capo OP. They even used the original OP song for it. If my memory didn't fail me, Da Capo was one of the more popular anime shows back when I was in P6.
